Leatherette Bracelet Family Circle

Designed by Sioux Native artist Maxine Noel, this leatherette bracelet was created in support of the Nshwaasnangong Child Care & Family Centre, with assistance from the Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre. The name Nshwaasnangong, meaning "the star from the Big Dipper that fell to earth," reflects the Anishinaabe people's connection to Sky World and their gifts. This bracelet serves as a reminder of the Centre's responsibility to share those teachings and gifts. Measuring 18 cm in length, it features a durable leatherette band and an easy-to-use metallic clasp, blending meaningful storytelling with everyday functionality.
