Designed by Gitxsan artist Michelle Stoney, this fine porcelain mug pays tribute to local survivors through a poignant design inspired by the community. The hand symbolizes connection and remembrance, with Stigyoden, the local mountain of the Gitxsan Nation in Northern British Columbia, featured prominently in the palm. Surrounding the mountain are flowers, known as majagalee in the Gitxsan language, which also signifies children. At the top, feathers represent the children who never made it home, serving as a heartfelt honor to their memory. Each mug holds 295 ml (10 oz) and comes in a specially designed box that showcases the artwork and its description, making it an ideal gift. These mugs stack neatly for a stunning presentation and are both microwave and dishwasher safe, blending artistry with practicality for everyday use.
